This is my teapot that is glazed in clear glaze with hot pink drips down the side. For this project I worked on a new technique of making and attaching a spout. This project fits in to my theme but being glazed in clear with a ink accent color. The way that the pink stain dripped down the side makes it look like there are pink flames on the side. The only thing I don't like about this project is that the glaze got a little bit messed up when it didn't "stick" in some places.

This is my lidded project that is glazed with the top in light blue and the bottom is clear with light blue dripping down the sides. The way that the project is shaped puts an emphasis on the large size of the top. I like the way that the top is the focal point of the project because this is my lidded project and I feel it only appropriate for the lid to be the main piece. This project also fits perfectly into my theme becaus of the accented color (light blue) present on the whole project.

This is a vase that is glazed in clear and dark blue. It has a smooth texture which emphasizes the curved shape of the vase. The way that the blue glaze dropped also shows of the nice structure of the vase while also creating a nice and simple design that isn't too distracting. This piece plays an important role in showing off my theme which is accent color. While some of the project Is glazed in clear the accent color is the blue creating a nice look.

This is a bowl that is 5x6 with a smooth texture. It is glazed half in yellow and half in clear and where the two glazes overlap, the yellow is a little bit darker. The bowl is of a decent size and is perfect for use to eat something out of it. For this project I worked on making something that isn't too small or too big but it is still the effect size to be used.

This is my big blue bowl. It is glazed with light blue on the outside as well as light blue drips inside of the bowl on top of the clear glaze. The drips on the inside create a pattern that make it more interesting than if it was just two plain, solid colors. For this project I worked on my pulling up technique in order to prevent any sort of unevenness in the overall structure.

This is an altered vase that has a smooth texture. It is glazed in clear on the bottom with black glaze on the top that is dripping down towards the bottom. This project shows movement on the top though the altered top as well as movement with the glaze with the drips. This project shows movement with both the structure as well as the glaze.

This is a mug that I have created that is approx. 5x6. It has a smooth texture and is glazed half in dark blue and half in clear. The glazing is simple enough so that it emphasizes the large size of the mug while still looking creative. I enjoyed making this project because it is a big mug that I plan on using a lot.

This is my wheel altered project that is 5x6. It has a smooth texture and is glazed in clear and dark blue. A new skill I worked on while making this was shaping something in order for it to be useful, this can be used as a pitcher. The dipped blue glaze on only 1/2 of the project makes it interesting to look at and creates an effect that something is already being poured out of it which is fitting for a pitcher.

This is is my set of three project. The three cylinders are of similar shape but different sizes and are glazed in various glazing patterns with clear and yellow. The different glazing patterns (one verticle, one horizonta, and one dripping) shows variety inside of a common theme. The similar colors and shapes of the projects create harmony within the set while also creating interest because of the different patterns. For this project I worked on my basics by creating large cylinders.

This is a plate that is 9x9. It has a smooth texture and is glazed in clear, cobalt blue, light blue and green. A new skill that I used to make this plate was using entirely new techniques that are specific to making plates. The different placements of the different glazes create an unusual pattern that is pleasing to the eye and interesting to look at.
